PDP should never be allowed to come to Abia State again, Otti is working with J.Berger thats someone who wants his roads to last more than 30+ years.

this is what happens when you send political jobbers and people who have godFather to settle. PDP was all about stealing day and night

Otti has non of that, in Abia state its either youre working or you get out of the state. no room for free political jamboree

Pls what is the economic important of the road when the state are hungry.na road we go chop?

Still very backward.

Where are pedestrians supposed to walk?

Inside the open gutter?

No allow people show you pix of roads without any slabs/coverings on the gutters/drainage in your own 'centre of slum, indebtedness & agberoism'!

Those asking where pedestrians are supposed to walk are quite blind and ignorant.
The pedestrians use the lane after the gutter which is either not visible in the picture or hasn't been enforced.
Also being ignorant, they don't understand what the yellow continous line on the road is for...na their type LASTMA dey take cash out.

This is almost definitely a private estate.

Kushites:
This is Abuja.

Why can't these useless state governors build their streets like this?

This is how a normal street looks in a sane environment.

Covered drains. Sidewalks.

It's not rocket science!

You certainly don't know what backwardness is. Now let me give you a clue. Hope you remember how prices of things were before emilokan grabbed power and ran with it just a year ago? Now check prices of those commodities now. That's what backwardness is.

The last pic here, represent what Kushites is on about, look at this man having to walk on the same road as cars with his very little kid. I wouldnt cost much to actually cover the drains and make sidewalks available

good roads but incomplete

I agree, good roads but incomplete

I am torn, cause on one hand, this man has accomplished a lot, so much, when it comes to making the roads motorable, thereby reducing commuting times drastically

On the otherhand, I'm like, bruuh, close the gutter na!

It's as if Nigerians love their open gutters.

How do you attract tourists when they will be walking with their Burger King Cheeseburger and next to them will be all sizes of poo in the gutter for all to see, chai.

This happens everywhere, even Victoria Island Lagos (makes me sad). Well almost everywhere, as someone said, Abuja has sane types of sidewalks.
