Hello All, good morning.

My brother who stays in one of the European countries, precisely Malta, is planning to get married over there. However, he was required by the Maltese authorities to procure a certificate of Bachelorhood from Nigeria to establish that he has never been married, before the authorities over there would agree to conduct the marriage.

I was made to understand that the Certificate of Bachelorhood can be gotten from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Has anyone done this before?
What exactly are the requirements before one proceeds to the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Abuja?
What's the likely time duration and cost before one gets it?

Please I'll appreciate counsels and advice on this.
