I feel sorry for these southern states that think the north is not rich Kano should be number 3. The trading going on is at an international level. It’s the biggest receiver of imports from Niger republic. Kano state’s revenue is up there. But undeclared revenue is the biggest source of stealing, not budgeted funds. That one EFCC can’t trace Gombe, Kogi, Bauchi and Borno have oil Zamfara has gold Kaduna, Nasarawa have lithium Zamfara, Borno and Kaduna have a lot of minerals being mined in the areas bandits have taken over. Chinese people fly in freely into these conflict areas. Lebanese too have been caught flying raw gold and dollars out of the country 4 Likes |

Racoon: GDP is not the real assessment for economic development. It is GDP per Capita (population) that assesses the level of economic development. Ordinary GDP only measures the level of economic activity(growth) in an economy. 1 Like |
