😂pained Okoro, we don’t compete with people beneath us. Nnachukwu selling Okrika and spare part is not the only way to make money. Yorubas control the Coperate world e.g financial, insurance and well established businesses and not just 2*2 shops rented to you migrant by your yorubaland lord grin if you were so comfortable in your region, you won’t be in traffic in Lagos and Ibadan hawking gala, Abi have you ever seen a Yorubaman hawking gala in traffick in alaibo? But your cursed tribe are all over our cities hawking all sorts and some even committing crimes😂 you lots are just noisy chest beaters, we don see Una finish😂😂

Every able bodied man should be proud of his hustle. That is the gauntlet of manhood, hawking gala or whatever as long as they put food on the table for their family and don't end up sneaking from one grave to the other disturbing their ancestor's skull after borrowing money to attend owambe. grin There is dignity in labor. The ones that go to school? You cannot outshine them, fully represented in business and academia.

They never wait for sallah to queue at one man's house to dobale for one gallon of oil or carton of spaghetti ,the lazy youths as your first lady aptly describes you lot grin. The igbo apprentice system is the biggest incubator globally; tenacity, grit , diligence these are things you can learn from. The people that own the 2 by 2 shops can feed your 3 families of civil servants with your degree in mass com , philosophy or whatever nonsense piece of paper you boast of without shouting ebin pawa Common sense is not common . grin

[quote author=Alexiiydon post=130108608]Lol ....I can now see why igbos are trooping to Lagos just Lagos GDP is greater than all there states combine[/qu

You don't really get it, do you ?.....The trooping is what is boosting the GDP.Investors, Enterprenuers, technocrats, workforce etc all bring their funds, expertise, manpower to boost the GDP.If the trooping is reversed then the opposite will happen with the gradual and steady decline of GDP.

We still topped the chart with Lagos.
Lagos is a natural blessing to the SW just like oil and gas is to the Niger Delta.
Next year's gdp will have SW states taking the first five slots.

Na the lacking of those 5 states in the first 10 made you trying to discard this post and refer it to next year gdp. Chaii. Agbadorians are the actual problem we have. Lagos coming first is as clear as crystal cus we all know why. We all will clap for ourselves concerning Lagos position

I feel sorry for these southern states that think the north is not rich

Kano should be number 3. The trading going on is at an international level. It’s the biggest receiver of imports from Niger republic. Kano state’s revenue is up there. But undeclared revenue is the biggest source of stealing, not budgeted funds. That one EFCC can’t trace

Gombe, Kogi, Bauchi and Borno have oil
Zamfara has gold
Kaduna, Nasarawa have lithium
Zamfara, Borno and Kaduna have a lot of minerals being mined in the areas bandits have taken over. Chinese people fly in freely into these conflict areas. Lebanese too have been caught flying raw gold and dollars out of the country

Just look at what you are typing. That you are importing from Chad and Mali abi Niger, and Lebanese flying raw gold out of North. How does that add economic growth to the north. Where are the proceeds from the gold go to

This is interesting.l am surprised by Imo, though the reduction in insecurity might have explain this sudden growth on its GDP.Kidnappings still looms nonetheless and the governor must do something for the people to feel secured and feel the change. It's proximity to Rivers and Anambra could be another positive factor.Anambra must step up the game cause they have many vibrant indigenous factories and used to lead the chart.Oti must rivatalise Aba to bring back her past glory.lnflation however is very high in the country. All regions are suffering.Mr president ,hunger is biting hard.

What does proximity to Rivers and Anambra have to do with anything? Or is it because Imo doesn't make noise all over the place?
If 'proximity ' as you claimed was a factor why is they GDP higher than the state they are 'close to''? It's obvious you came here to hype your state and make noise as usual... You mustn't always pour cold water on everything under the guise of making a comment. I doubt any body will engage you. I won't respond to any other comment either...Bye

4. Imo State — GDP: ₦7.68 trillion
Imo State stands out for its diverse economy and thriving agriculture, commerce, and manufacturing sectors. The state’s strategic location, coupled with government initiatives to promote investment and entrepreneurship, has propelled its economic growth and contributed significantly to Nigeria’s GDP.

My people where are the thriving manufacturing, commerce or industry in imo state? Putting imo state in this list has discredited it

Stop convulsing over this. This is raw facts that have been audited not nairaland noise and posturing. Separate audited facts from noisemakers on social media. For the fact that people say and repeat something over and over again doesn't make it true. I can come and claim anything over and over again, and before you know it everyone buys it as facts but that doesn't make it facts. Imo state is the only state that has free education for indigenes up to university level, but i'm sure you have never heard any noise about it. Go figure, the state is the most educated in Nigeria. BTW ... i'm not from there, but these are facts before us. For the fact some people make the most noise on social media doesn't translate to the truth on ground. High levels of education could also play a role in why people from Imo state are docile and less noisy on social media.

Imo and Anambra coming before Ogun state is really surprising.

Ogun is built of the mumu concept of foreign investment. Do you think a foreign company is goi g to stay in Nigeria while the currency costs 50% of its value in 2 months?

Here we are. The figures are speaking for themselves. So Ogun GDP is no more than the SE combined as alleged? GDP is the real assessment index of economic development of a state or nation and not the IGR the taxman of Lagos is inflicting on the nation. Even the current Lagos own @ present is based on the fact that it is a fallout of it being a former capital territory of Nigeria.

So, Niger has a better GDP than Kano and Kaduna? Iiiibos. Smh.

Dey fool yourselves.

Delta and Rivers are not part of Ibo land.

Only ibos live in South east
I can see you are heavily pained and shocked at the same time. This are Fot states making statement. Chestbeating is not just garagara but real. Ogun state GDP is higher than the 5 SE states combined together crew. I hope you will stop shouting that for now. Ibo rules. Lol

Lagos is on top because all tribes are heavily represented and because of his glory of been the former capital of Nigeria.
