HOW TO TELL STORIES THAT CONVERTS YOUR AUDIENCE TO BUYERS.

My wife is pregnant!!!

A man storms his doctor's office shouting, Doctor, my wife is pregnant.

You removed my sperm cells, how's this possible?

The doctor replied by telling him a story.

A Hunter accidentally left his house with an umbrella instead of a rifle, out of no where, a lion attacked the hunter.

So, the hunter pointed the umbrella, fired and killed the lion 🦁.

"Impossible! Someone else must have shot that lion. The man replied"

Exactly the doctor said, that's what I've been trying to let you know.

Sis, what did you notice?

The doctor could have just told the man his wife was cheating. But the story allowed the man to arrive at his conclusion, which was more convincing.

So,

Learning how to leverage stories to communicate to your audience helps you to be more appealing and persuasive.

Humans naturally gravitate towards amazing stories that are relatable to them.

They can put some things on hold just to read or listen to a storyline that relates to their pain, sorrow, joy, pleasure, etc.

Smart Marketers have understood this as a psychological anchor in humans.

That's why when creating an ad copy they'll do all they can to stress the pain of their target audience, agitate the pain, and offer a solution using a story.

Even Politicians use it during their campaigns, you would see the level of hope they will inspire by their narrative.

Barack Obama also used it for his presidential campaign in 2004.

Reporters had it that, it was his depth of communication that brought the victory for him.

So you shouldn't be left out in the use of storytelling.

If you badly want to make more sales from your existing audience you can leverage this simple storytelling framework.

This framework is called the PAS framework.

The PAS framework is an acronym that means;

P = Problem:

Discover a problem, pain, worries, your audience is going through, then write a story about it.

A = Agitate,

After building your case, you would use the next paragraphs to duly agitate on the problem you've stated.

S = Solution.

Here you will give your solution. Politicians call it their mandate, internet marketers call it their offer.

In all, it's the solution to the proposed or diagnosed problem.

If you can get this right, you will become so loved by your audience, and they will naturally want to buy whatever you're offering, provided it's solving their problems.

But you can only get better by PRACTISE.

You get better at praying by praying.

You get better at selling by selling.

You get better at marketing by marketing.

You get better at playing football by playing football.

You will also get better at telling compelling stories by also telling compelling stories.
