They will continue to ruin the country but will never relinquish power. The allure and the pecks of power is too sweet for them but the responsibilities, they would not do. They will shift the blame to others. These are thieves who have taken advantage of the corruption and ethnic divisions to rule the country. 1 Like |

Minimum wage stalemate is also causing fears ...We don't want Jagaban of Africa to announce something that would send shivers o ...I have strong believe the economy would be stable in August, crude oil price is dropping self ...I honestly think we should have a floating minimum wage since we are already deregulating .... |

jiz: I believe Cardoso means well and even TINUBU means well but his arrogance is why we are in this mess. He did not have proper consultation with stake holders before announcing subsidy removal and the way he removed it was terrible and even himself advised against what he did during Jonathan tenure. Then he unified exchange rate in a hurry without proper consultation. Unfortunately, these actions are responsible for our troubles. 1 Like |

Naira Depreciation Beyond Cardoso & Tinubu Big Boys In Control by googi: 8:19pm The easy temporary measures do not appreciate local currency, they only give time to local currency hoarders to unleash at will their old crumbling naira from vaults, graveyards, file cabinets and wherever they hide the loot. Of course depreciating local currency further as they besiege Bureau du Change again. If anyone thinks these money launders do not know the timing and when to flood the market, think again. Many countries have their form of Bureau du Change and Central Bank but most African countries turned theirs into round tripping enterprises or private banks for the privileged politicians and their cronies. As other countries have checks and balances in place, so do our local regulators that just ignored them with impunity in Africa. It started with the military strong men and got worse regardless of civilian or military government. 1 Like |
