Is so interesting to see how many are so ignorant of the system that brought Sanusi Lamido Sanusi to the throne at the first time. The seat of the throne was meant to remain with the Ado bayero's family but political tussle between the then Kano State governor Dr Rabi'u Kwankwaso and Former president Good luck Jonathan made Kwankwaso to forcefully install SLS as the emir after Ado bayero's death leaving his son Aminu Ado bayero the heir to the throne behind.
Is this the reason Ganduje balkanised the position and gave bayero only a portion?

Sanusi was never meant to be the emir. It wasn't his turn.
Kindly explain your point.

The throne belongs to Sanusis not the Bayeros in the first place, his grandfather was unjustly dethroned as Emir and the throne handed over to his younger brother the late Bayero. It is only just to return the throne to the right house.

I call on the people to remain law-abiding while awaiting outcome of the legal process in this tussle.
------Bayero.

Is Kano Emir title hereditary or not? All the years before Sanusi as Emir, we have known and seen Ado Bayero as Emir of Kano. With fanfare, Emir Ado Bayero would visit Orlu in Imo state during traditional festivals. Let justice prevail. Politicians trifling in matters of tradition and traditional rulers is a carryover from colonialism.

One of the parties will eventually give in.

... probably Bayero's

It's a fact that people choose not to learn history. If not because of GEJ the Clueless that sacked Sanusi from CBN & he was hastily crowned as Emir of Kano to evade arrest, Aminu Adobayero would have been the Emir from day one till date after the death of his late father for he was the crown prince.

Look at this useless man ! In your lifetime you watched as Gandollar rubbished your people’s sacred customs and traditions . Watered down the influence and power of the Kano Emirate just so you become a beneficiary. You sat down and enjoyed it . You basked in it . Conscience and wisdom didn’t make you reject it . You might have even been party and instrumental to dethroning Sanusi . Now you have lost out and you are talking about the law and God ? You and Gandollar should be cellmates ! Werey people

Which law?

Nigerians don't trust the laws of Nigeria anymore. Since the law can be used in different ways as it pleases the user to destroy things and force his ways into peoples rights.

The law is dead in Nigeria and that's the consequences you're suffering so.

Ha ha ha.
Nigeria's lawyers and court judges turned Abuja to become the 37th State of Nigeria, changed the English language dictionary meaning of 36 states and Abuja - all to let APC continue with its strangulation of Nigerians.

Nigeria's lawyers and Court judges can even tell you that Kano Emirate never existed before now.

If this issue gets out of hand, FG may just declare state of emergency. This tussle proofs that all the royal institution may not be needed anymore in Nigeria. What's the point of traditional institutions or authority when they can be kicked out by any governor in power.
nothing is getting out of hand oga, it is your FG that is trying to cause chao in where there's no chao.
Re: Nobody Is Above The Law - Dethroned Emir, Ado Bayero Breaks Silence by DJInfluence: 4:38pm On May 26
Nobody is above the law now right? When you were sworn in 4 years ago thru wuruwuru ways, you no remember then that you are not above the law.

Better wait for the next APC governor to change the law wherever they win another election in the state, so they can also reinstate you.

Emir is now a political appointment, just like ministers and commissioners. Very soon we will have the position of "the Emir to the Emir" just like we have "special assistance to the special assistance". grin

in a sane country, the lg will have the power to remove any of these so called traditional rulers - whose style of governance was an absolute failure and very primitive.

The only time a governor will have power over the lg is when the case involves overlapping lg.

The governor cannot do nothing to an lg except call out the lg chairman if a project has not been done or there is suspected fraud or corruption. It is the state house assembly that can vote to remove an lg. Even at that, elections should be held in a certain time frame, and any new project or decision in that lg, would be put on hold.

Nigeria is still a primitive country.
The sg got limited power over the lg, just like the FG got limited power over the lg.

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is a useless vagabond who will die miserable. However Alhaji Ado Bayero, you are a greedy buffoon, the immediate past and late Emir was your father, since there are two greedy families entitled to the throne, you should know that it is not your turn so that Ogun no go kee you.

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is the rightful occupier of the throne, but Ogun go soon kee am too for illegally taking over about 10 Southern Banks while giving Nigeria's money to the useless Northern bank, the Unity Bank. One of his conspirators Wigwe was recently killed by Ogun, so Ogun is coming for him soon. So, go and sit down somewhere and wait for Shikini time, Ogun go kee Sanusi Lamido Sanusi very very soon, then you can get back to the throne
