We are already playing a double pivot with Rice/ Partey, there is no need to invert into the middle, otherwise, you will overload the middle and with City's high and hard press, we would have suffered with Bernado on either side of their attack.

Arteta didn't set up this team for any of the FBs to invert. We are simply playing direct which is why he went with Havertz up front. So far so good, Havertz is doing what he was asked to do just that the striker instinct is missing.
