AW said he allows Ozi to ,over freely, Ozil likes to move the ball anywhere he likes, left right centre. Hee started on the wings in past matches that doesn't mean he's playing as a winger.. On Saturday he started in the middle but ended up playing on te wings most of the time. Playing on the left wings never had anything to do with his bad performances. He wasn't basically doing anything right, and he wasn't trying enough obviously. Ozil played on the wings for both Chalked and Weren Been before his move to Madrid, and even at Madrid he loves drifting to the wings.

Ozil has not had much freedom when he's played out on the wing.... I am not trying to make excuses for him, because i know he has had some stinker but we actually need to play him more in that free role.....he can zip in and out or glide anywhere around the attacking realm, left, right or centre..... The landscape changes if he is primarily playing as a LM... Defensive duties cant let him do that but when you have a player who is naturally not suited to that position, then we have a problem defensively when opponents attack.......

The big question is why is Wenger playing a player who has not had a decent preseason and a long summer in a position that requires a lot of fitness and energy coupled with natural or enthusiastic defensive abilities, outwide?

Ozil has had a long summer and no preseason, i think ya'all want too much... the wave of criticism is absolutely unfair.

Presbulg: This is also Ozil heat map against Aston Villa. Had more touches on the left wing. Like I said Ozil has not been performing very well because he started on the left wing, he's just been poor and I think the world cup might have been of the reasons too.

How many times have our players frustrated each other or not played together as a unit?

Ozil wasn't asked to play as a winger, everyone he's played, he's told told he can roam freely(like a free role) that's what the heat map is telling you and I. The team has been poor too bar a few players. The criticism of Ozil is that he's been poor below his standard.

Ozil is not new to playing on the wing, that's the excuse people are using for his poor games. He's played there for both Chalked and Werder Bremen and and even when he starts in the middle he still likes to drift to the wings. The

At arsenal, the team don't normally do tactics. Arsene sets up his team in such a way that they are allowed to express themselves very well. :
we don't usually worry about the opponent,, the opponents worry about us..

A heat map shows the positions a player occupied on the field.. In those heat maps it shows Ozil was everywhere, left, centre and right of that madfield.

When a player leaves a certain position, another player covers that position.
Arsenal style of play is a possession based football which means there's a lot of movement between the midfielders which normally means they find themselves in a lot of positions of the field.

Ozil is not tactically disciplined to play the number 11 role because of the defensive aspects required for that position...........

In theory,if you leave your wide men to roam about freely or interchange with the inside MF players, the defensive aspects required to play those outwide positions suffer, and that will kill the team overall!

OZIL was not given any license to play a free role, when he was deployed to play outwide..... Wenger would have been insane or retar...ded to do that!

That a player plays on the sides does not mean he is now the winger. I have mentioned before that the only winger in the Ist team set up is Alexis Sanchez. So when Ozil or Cazorla plays by the sides, they are actual playing...

2. For a centre forward to run into

Wenger will be tactically stupid and daft to give Ozil a free role when the set up had him starting out on the wing, without making adequate cover for the defensive aspect of where Ozil started.

Wenger should know that giving Ozil a free role if he was deployed to play outwide will mean that we need someone to cover the defensive aspects should Ozil be out of range, with a view to stemming the wave of any attack from that side...

Wenger is a pathological liar anyway so i wont believe anything he said on this matter.
