Szczesny on loan to AS Roma. No buyout clause included in his loan. Which means he will be returning to the home of football next season.

We are being reported to be in for a Barcelona midfielder.

I mentioned the Szczesny loan yesterday. I hear it's a 2 year loan actually but not sure yet.

Patakisports is gathering intel that it is one year loan deal.

I am glad Wenger is being pragmatic with this decision, especially if the move becomes successful, amongst the three that would scramble for the number one jersey Szczeny is ranked last based on current form, experience and prospect for me..he has being protected by Wenger for way too long, he has had opportunities but this should be a lesson for him and other young players in the team, I wish him all the best.

The video I posted above was Szczesny at his best 5 years ago at age 20. I remember how I debated on this forum that he should be used instead of Almunia. I got my wish and he didn't disappoint. Sadly, he's failed to develop himself mentally and I believe that's his main problem. He still sees himself as young and unless he changes, he may not rise to be that great GK everyone wants him to be.

Jens Lehmann's brief stay with us some years back helped him. Hopefully this loan spell will help him too. I'll be watching out for him at Roma
