Seargents in the army aren't earning 50k a month oga; it's way more than that. Just ask him to show you his pay slip

It will be increased too only if the COAS agreed to increase it, just like it is left for governors to implement that of state civil servants.

Except he buys on credit and settle once alert enter😄, he is not responsible for light bill or whatever bill in the barracks.
In a nutshell; he should expect a raise if the new wage is implemented but he shouldn't be making plans on it now o. 😂

My private sector where I work, our cleaners are under minimum wage. But 10k was added for cost of living adjustment. If they increase the minimum wage to 100k that mean they will be earning 100k and other staffs whose salaries are above minimum wage will be adjusted base on the percentage differences.

All governorment workers (civil servants) would get an increase. Soldiers are also civil servants.

I was speaking with a kid whom I knew from way back, he got into the army from Zaria deport just a little over one year ago, he says his allowance plus salary is around 70k.

Yes and all uniform men and women in the country not excluding the DSS.

Op your friend might not want to disclose his salary to you or he might be on loan a Sgt is receiving between 64 - 80k monthly depending on courses attended, this excluding the monthly allowance oo

Sgt in the Army is above 100k maybe bank loan don finish am.

there is equally what they call none regular allowance that they paid them every month and I think Sgt own should be up to 30k. I love the Army Sha they are always secretive when it's comes to their welfare.

Millitary law n civilians law are not d same.of minimum wage increases...millitary authority may review theirs too or may not.

I don't know about the military but NLC struggle surely includes the Police Force, they're also working for the government nah

Even youth corpers will receive the minimum wage.
