Are you an ambitious African student interested in the fast-moving world of technology in Africa?
Google is inviting you to apply to its Africa Internship Programme which provides valuable work experience in the field of internet and mobile technology for talented university students.
In the summer of 2011, five students from African universities participated in Google’s inaugural Africa internship programme in Ghana, Uganda, Nigeria, Kenya and Senegal.
Google Africa interns take responsibility for a wide variety of projects, from market research and field testing to product development and launching.
During the Summer 2011 program, interns P.K Opoku, Daniel Odongo, Aze Amechi, Kenny Rachuonyo, and Assane Mbengue spent three months supporting the many innovative projects taking place in their respective Google offices.
As a Google intern, you can benefit from development and training as well as competitive salary and relocation assistance and other perks, where applicable.
Google says it is committed to developing the next generation of tech innovators and entrepreneurs, but also benefits from the insight and skills of bright students from Africa’s top universities.
