Maybe so that the food will stay longer in the stomach... If it's not about the taste

From ur explaination I figured out that the food without salt will digest faster

Salt brings out the natural flavor in food...

Balances sweetness and brings out the depth in food. Flavor makes enjoying food possible and not a boring chore.

The amount of salt used in preservation is different from the amount used to flavor food.

Many foods we eat contain salt in their natural form and the human body is capable and adapted to processing it.

The human body needs salt to function optimally. It helps in making the body stay hydrated for example. Lack of salt in diet can even lead to death in extreme cases.

Moderate salt consumption is part of a balanced diet.

Even animals have need for salt to function and go to great lengths to access salt sources like salt licks or mineral water!

Mosts of your posts are not good for consumption.

People always want you to imitate their kind of life style there by imposing or writing it as a topic so that the gullible will follow them.

Always be picky in choosing how you follow people, don't be a sheeple.

This is gonna be a quick one...and it defies what we've been taught but c'mon haven't you really sat and thought of it shocked

We add salt to meat so it doesn't go bad...then they say "add that same salt to your food so it taste good"

So which is it exactly, what's the purpose of salt in food:
salt to make a food tasty or to act as a preservative?

Salt don't make food tasty because all food has its own smell hence having its own unique taste.

Any food we eat, we want to make sure it's a perishable food...and we want to make sure we eat it before it perishes

So if salts inhibit the decay of meat (that i salt stops the multiplication of bacteria in the air that decompose meat), then how is salt good for our health when we also have bacteria in our stomach that digests our food too?
Wouldn't that Salt DELAY the bacteria action of digesting our food properly??

Hello! The salt applied to meat killed off the bacteria in the air from decomposing the meat...how are we sure that Salt isn't gonna kill of the bacteria in our stomach that digests our food?

It stands to reason that Salt applied to any food whatsoever inhibits digestion of that food in our stomach

And we as humans do not need a food to be tasty or sweet before we'd want to digest it.

Sugar for example is sweet but it's bad for our health while bitter leaf water, although bitter, holds some nutritional value than the 'sweet sugar'

The stomach doesn't see... neither does it taste.

So why am I salting my food when I'm not trying to preserve it in my stomach?

I want the meat I eat to digest!!...not stay in my stomach and be "preserved"
"Salt has its own benefits for our bodies. It’s good to add it to food, and it won’t affect our health when used properly."
