Doubtless Real has improved massively this campaign attesting to the skills of the gaffer who I regard as the very best, but the fact is the Madrid team remains sub-standard in very critical areas. If you will beat Barca you either have to outpossess and attack them or adopt dynamic defending. Both require a highly skillful and mobile defensive and offensive midfield that can outpossess Barca and press high when they loose the ball. Real just doesn't have this quality. Lass, Khedira and Alonso do have their qualities but they fall well short of containing Messi and Xavi. Offensively the likes of Ozil, Kaka and DeMaria donot hold the ball long enough to create room often leaving the strikers too much work.

They need an AM in the mould of David Silva (wonder why they didn't go for him). In the squad Callejon is even better than either Kaka or Ozil.

The team's mobility is still in question and I wouldn't rule out a 3-0 Barca win.

PS. I'm not a fan of any football team. Nigerian teams have ensured that.
