the RECENT march through the streets  of Lagos by the OPC should be seen in good lightand not in a tribal view as the first and foremost essence of the OPC protest was 'securing' lives,albeit indirectly.ONE CANNOT JUST SIT BACK AND CONDEMN THE EXCESSES OF boko haram .action is needed.this march reminds me ofthe 1990S IN ESPANA,where Spanish citizens in Madrid staged angry protests to denounce the violence of E.T. A, a violent group similar IN TACTICS to BOKO HARAM.         E.T.A  which  fights for a seperate homeland since then have been largely rendered impotent,the VIOLENT group even agreeing to a rare cease fire.         
                         those who SNEERand make tribal jest AT THE ARMED MARCH should hold their heads in SHAME as in matters of life and death ,no matter your tribe,the safety of lives and property is non-negotiable,not to mention the ethnic diversity of LAGOS.that it was labelled a 'YORUBA' MARCH is nonense as beneficiaries of this commendable act would also include NON-YORUBAS. non-yorubas,especially,IGBOS who are quick to purr the term 'COWARDS' should ask themselves ;HOW MANY times have the IGBOS retaliated in the NORTH WHEN BEING CONSISTENTLY BUTCHERED,a la the 1994 kano  riots,where the head of an IGBO MAN GIDEON AKALUKA was humiliatingly and savagely paraded on the streets of KANO.numbers?NUMBERS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH BRAVERY as CAESAR,ALEXANDER THE GREAT HAS SHOWN.A Smaller CROATIAN ARMY DEFEATED a much more bigger SERB ARMY.  the term'COWARD' EXPLAINS THE frustrations of an ENVIOUS BUNCH.
