Take it or leave it, Yak is our best striker since Yekini.

Holding Nigeria's all-time 3rd highest goal scorer with 22 goals is no mean feat.

He has paid his due for Nigeria, any striker can miss a seater.

Guy‘s, look @ his present form and not the past. In my opinion he deserves another chance and am very sure he would want to put in his best to redeem himself.

I honestly do not know why Nigerians can't forgive this guy. On record he is the highest scoring African player in the EPL!
His crime he missed a sitter at a group stage!
Some ppl have made their teams lose the final and they are still held in high regard in their home lands a la Zine and Baggio
Abel, he should be given a chance.

I guess it's a question of his committment to the national team(this applies to a lot of other players in the National Team) as well as the tactical deficiencies of the coaching crew of the National Team to get the best out of him.At clubside level he scores absolute screamers but when in National colour, well,he's crap

Yak's 4 goals should not b criteria 4 bringing him back 2 super eagles, lets develop younger stars if we r 2 move our football forward.afterall there are scores of better players who don't play 4 thier national teams.he is no where near d paul scholes of this world

He still remains the Nigerian (or even African) with the highest number of goals ever in the English premiership. He deserves some small respect.
