Super Eagles striker Peter Odemwingie scored his first English Premier League goal since January 19 in their 2-1 defeat to Newcastle on Saturday.
The Nigerian started his first league match for the BlueBirds on Saturday against Newcastle at the Cardiff City Stadium and scored the consolation goal after the Magpies raced ahead.
Newcastle went ahead in the 30th minute and doubled their lead eight minutes later – both goals scored by their on-loan striker from QPR, Loic Remy.
Cardiff raised their game in the second half but Odemwingie’s goal was all they had to show for their endeavour.
Odemwingie got his goal by selling a dummy to the advancing Tim Krul before scoring his first Premier League goal for his new club.
Odemwingie successfully completed two dribbles, had 66% pass accuracy from 54 touches and won all his aerial duels. He also had one shot that was the only goal for Cardiff and Nicky Maynard replaced him in the 81st minute.

Please remember that is his real age as he was born in Russia. If he was born in Nigeria, he will be 22 years old.

It was a nice finish but I pray he continue to score more goals for them. For me, Osaze has gone past his prime and should Cardiff go on relegation this season, bye-bye to top flight football be that.

Please remember that is his real age as he was born in Russia. If he was born in Nigeria, he will be 22 years old.
I wanted saying 21 (tht is -10 yrs), but its all the same. I think he remains the only super eagles player that did not falsify his age.

Eto is 32 and signed a new contract with Chelsea.

Drogba @ 35 won Chelsea the UCL and later moved to Galatasaray.

Ibrahimovic is 33 and still dangerous.

So it has nothing to do with age.

BTW Efe Ambrose is 24 and just signed new deal with Celtic.
