Even millions of homes depend solely on the money sent by their families abroad to eat,otherwise they will go hungry and die. There are thousands of men and women who made their fortune in this their fatherland, it bores down to your foundation and your destiny.
As aspiring young man you are (I guess), you need to do a thorough visibility study of where you are japaing to so that you don't japada.
Traveling abroad is not a guarantee that you have made it

Stick to making this about Nigeria ....leave other African countries out of this mess. Plenty of Africans making it and living their lives in their own countries in this very Africa.

Many people have. Of the thousands of millionaires and billionaires in Nigeria how many do we know their full story? There are guys in Kano with hundreds of millions of Naira in investment and they only go for Hajj.

If I create a product that 5 million Nigerians will use and pay for such that I can make a profit, I will not need to go overseas.

Whether the success can be sustained by the Nigerian State is then another matter. Nigeria has a way of frustrating your efforts and bringing it to nought. Even with this, people still attain and maintain success without going overseas.

I disagree with your facts. If we had good leaders, good paying job, good security, good everything most of us won't travel out.
Despite the hardship here in Nigeria, some people are still making good money.
I know of someone that travelled out, stayed for 5 years and came back empty handed.
He never showed up to see his family members, he relocated to another distant state, cos according to him, he was a disgrace to them, now he's into sharwama business.
If travelling out works for Mr A it might not work for Mr B.

This mindset is very bad it will limit you, look around the richest men in Nigeria and see atrend, are they based in Nigeria or can the abroad based compete with them? Make use of ur brain anywhere u are money go come
