Very good advise. But with the high rate of wicked landlords, that may not be easily possible.

The rule of thumb actually is that your monthly rent, if you divide your annual rent by 12, should never be more than 25% of your monthly salary.

If your monthly salary is N100,000 and you are paying anything more than 300k annually as house rent, you are wrong.
