Good day wonderful people. I plan to own a Range rover very soon. As I may not be able to afford a direct tokumbo, I need all the advice I can get on buying a Nigeria used one. It's not my first car but it's my dream car.

Please make sure you verify everything before buying.
Go with ur mechanic, etc.
Verify vehicle papers.

From statistics it starts dev fault sfter 100k miles.and u and i know what ipobs do when they ask u for which motor.u dare mention range rover.hahahaha.maybe the part na 20k ,dem gonsay na 150k...

Buy the 2006 to 2009 range rover sport (HSE) not SC. And upgrade it to a 2012. I drove one for 15 months. The only issue I had was overheating caused by a damaged thermostat. The first thermostat I bought was fake, until a guy from Ladipo brought the original, hit the thermostat slightly and installed it back. That was the end of the overheating issue. Very rugged car, no unnecessary sensors. I dropped my e70 (bmw) for it because of electric water pump issue.
Avoid all those 2014 upward, na wahala motor.

I nor gree accept the opinion. The 2014 upward follows the same pattern like the older version. Engine oil and cooling system. It will mess you up if you want to manage. If it says 5w30, it must be 5w30 of the top range. Range Rover is not for managers but Directors.
