Artexexes:If this isn't real then the gentleman went too far. This amounts to a hate speech. |
Teddibia:If that law is passed people won't be able to criticise the government, even here on faceless nairaland. Too bad. |
Ladyjane5657:Happy Birthday Ladyjane. Wishing you all you wish yourself and so much more. Your silence has been loud. |
GeniusOla:Nice. |
mojounited:Sorry Bro, but please break it down for clarity. Who got interviewed 2 - 3 weeks back? Is it a second order interview or does it cover those who weren't captured earlier on in July? Because I know a lot of superintendent cadre applicants who were interviewed in July and they weren't involved in this one. |
Chukeg:I asked a lawyer friend of mine what it means - "status quo" with respect to the NNPCrecruitment situation. After he checked out the article. He said NNPC won't be able to release the list until the court changes position. He did however say that if NNPC does get a nod from the court, even if the guy wants to or goes to appeal it, they can go ahead and release the list go within that window. |
chidiebereuzoma:Possible |
Nothing New, portal content is still the same. |
I'm an EH, that's what I got from my source. |
Sorry CSmooth, I am not too Nairaland Savvy, so I had to use your quote to make a submission. I Couldn't find a way to drop it without quoting someone (sorry). 1st time comment here: been monitoring the pages for long, but my moniker was my real name, so 2 wks ago I created the 82ndperspective. Last week Tuesday I spoke with my contact in NNPC. His station is in PH. He was supposed to be one of the panelist, he was already in Abuja on the 3rd ahead of the 4th, but had to leave for his station to address an emergency that came up. He got replaced as a result of that development. Meanwhile what he told me was that I should consider this whole delay a blessing. He said immediately after handover, a lot of names were smuggled into the list of successful candidates; usually it comes with some colletaral damage to the merit list. When MKK used some trusted loyalists to appraise the process, names were discovered that didn't exist at the interview stage. This corroborates the story someone posted here sometime about 70 names being detected at first glance. So he said he was told that MKK ordered that each successful candidates emerging APL should be should be pinned against his scoreline and interview invitation letter showing that barcode (something he said about the barcode not to be easily manipulated). Anyway, button line, he says that's the reason why it was delayed because all those verification prompted the temporary suspension. Then came the political pressure which was given birth to due to the lopsided reality of the performance of the candidates. Between that and other factors, the matter is still in check, as at last week Tuesday. Wanted to deposit, but my new moniker wasn't allowed to make a submission till another week. Reached out to him today, this photo was his response.
