I get your question. My answer is at the end of the day, the money (capital) has to be invested to make money (returns).

Because of the risks associated with doing business in Nigeria, it's better to Japa with that money before it's too late

@op... My advise is that... Whatever one intends to do as a profession or business, he must have previously learnt or done the job.

So i suggest he drops his ego or pride and be ready to work in that his uncle livestock business for atleast 6months so he can atleast learn the modus operandi of the bhsiness. Only then can he decide if he still wants to venture into the livestock business or not.

Agreed. This narrative that "everyone with cash should open a business" is lopsided. People need to understand how businesses work and companies are structured before starting theirs. With the experience and network, they will grow faster than a tyro who does the same business as them.

Let him stay in Nigeria and do the livestock farming. Lots of business opportunities in Nigeria otherwise he will waste the money traveling abroad and accomplishing very little.
