Good day, fellas. After reading the story of a guy who committed suicide because of pressure from his family members to get married, I felt really sad about it. Getting married, having children and making money is good but do not let anyone pressure you to the point of making you feel depressed, frustrated and worthless. This is why you should avoid people like these. Anyone who is married with children or is doing well financially and always use that to rub your face any time he or she is around, and trying to make you feel inferior before him or her, avoid that person like HIV. Such people are nuisance. Or if the person always uses direct or indirect means to mock you, avoid such people. E get why. Especially, if your heart ❤️ isn't that strong enough to endure it. An average low iq Nigerian always feel like they have made it in life just because they are married with children and you aren't or they are financially doing better than you. |

You are right. I am being seeing as a failure among my friends because i am the only one unmarried. Any time we meet they keep reminding me about getting married nd how sweet the thing is. I avoided them nd i now have peace of mind |

The hardcore truth is that, even marriages of nowadays aren't easy, most especially in terms of money 💰. People are really going through a lot. Na clothes dey cover many things. There are lots of people going through hell in their marriages but you may not know. No let anybody pressure you. The country itself is in a hot seat. Even marriage itself has its own stress and burden. If you never enter, you no go understand. Stress of having your own children, stress of fending for them and others too numerous to mention. |

OP, how will you learn if you avoid successful people? What is the value of surrounding yourself with Misérables people? I disconnected from every friend who is not able to get their shits together. Even my cousins who are struggling and not willing to do anything about their situations but complain, I cut off from them. I am doing very well but one of my foals this year is to make better connections by moving with people in circles above mine. Do not be intimidated when others are doing better than yourself and, don't try to use them for ATM. Try t o learn how to fish from them, ask them questions, be humble . |

Smilleydr:Do not pressure yourself don't allow other to pressure you. Work at your own pace and set your goals. I will not be with you if there is nothing to gain from you. |

Nnamdipapa:Successful who aren't willing to render help? It obvious you didn't read what i posted because your context is out of point. Not willing is a different case. Don't say things out of presumpsion until you put yourself in their shoes and walk a mile. |

Nnamdipapa:Oga there's actually nothing like "doing well in life" and "not doing well in life", that shit is just nonsense ignorant Nigerian mentality. Anything can happen to anyone in life at anytime. A so-called poor man today can become rich overnight if he stumbles upon a big money-spinning opportunity and a so-called rich man today can go broke overnight if he loses his job or his business collapses. I know of a so called rich man that went broke overnight after he lost 79 million naira when he imported face masks from China during the Covid 19 pandemic, only for Covid to be forgotten and Lockdown lifted a few months later, rendering his containers of face masks useless and unsold. I also know of a guy that lost a job that paid him over a million naira monthly just last two months cus the big pharmaceutical company he was working for exited Nigeria at the end of last year. The list of such scenarios is endless. Now, will you say that both men l just told their stories and millions of others in their shoes aren't doing well in life or what Nigerian mentality and low lQ is a terrible disease l swear. |
