I'd like to know if there is any application for Pcs that compresses data before sending it to a PC just the way Opera Mini does before sending web pages to phone. That is with an io intention to save data cost. You have to admit that Opera Mini does a fine job reducing cost by about 90% and makes web pages appear faster by virtue of its server compressing technology. Now wouldn't it be great if there was one like that for the pcs?

I have tried the Opera Mini Emulator which gives you the same mobile interface on your pc as you would have it on your phone, but it doesn't compress data.

So please if there is any application like that for laptops. please let me know.
