Hola guys, if you have used these two services, can you please tell us which one you believe is better and why?

Personally, i have used the two services very well. But somehow, i prefer sitemeter, the information seem to be more reliable than google analytics. The google analytics of my website is somehow inflated due to my pattern of coding - i believe google analytics does not rate my site correctly (www..net).

But sitemeter seem to work very very well and gives accurate data as far as my testing goes. What is your views guys?

Though I have not used sitemeter, I will say, go with what works best for you.

I personally would jump out and say google is best, by virtue of it being google but I also do understand that not all screwdrivers are star heads.  By the same token, you can use a flat head screwdriver on a screw with a star head - You use what best meets the needs of the situation you are in at any given time.

Try it and see, u can combine it with GA.

Hmm, I guess SM has changed cos the last time I used it (around 6 years or so ago), i had to dump it in favor of GA because the stats weren't as detailed as GA's and the stats weren't as "real time" either.

I guess I will give it another shot.

Google Analytics also has a Real Time feature that tells you how many visitors are on your website at any instant. So, don't think that's a downside.
As for me, Google Analytics is far far better.

Exactly, you're missing something. The "Real Time" tab is right there on the menu list by the left.

Ha ha you need to learn to use the interface, i assume you prefer site meter cos its easier to use. Google analytics an pul of more complex details off your site.

Go to lynda.com fr the fundmentals. You van search torrents fr such courses too.
