Guys i need ur help. I installed wamp it's been working fine but recently, phpmyadmin won't open in my browser. I tried re-installing, but the problem pesist. I discovered the tray icon on my task bar is nt displaying white, it kept on displaying yellow even after i have started all services. I tried stoping my anti-virus firewall but it won't help much. Please what do i do to get my wamp running perfectly?

Questions:
1. Are you using skype?
2. Did you install any other web server e.g. IIS, XAMPP
3. What are the most recent softwares you installed before the problem happened?
4. What version of windows or OS are you using

Please answer those questions correctly. . . .if i stroll through this board again, i might be able to help you.

just lost my laptop last week and had to borrow a friends, now having a reason to install a fresh wamp

I noticed same strange behaviour, all works well except phpmyadmin permission denied.
cant see any .htaccess and have little time left to rewrite all i lost as am close to deadline

i had to download a fresh phpmyadmin copy and save it in my project folder for now.
if thats stopping you from proceeding, pls do same and get something done.

yes, a shortcut has been added to the wamp SystemTrayIcon

Just like dhtml said, you might need to stop those other services from running.
