There is a thread with pictures; showing serious decay @ a Police barracks, so much that sticks are used to support parts of buildings from crashing down. They'll rather wait for Channels and Sahara to make the story go viral instead of them to do the needful here on NL

I erroneously created a thread not long ago accusing big brother organizers of censoring the word GOD. It was later I realized it is only on Africa magic. No matter the reason behind this, God remains the creator of the universe and owner of all breathing species. no amount of manipulation can make Him unpopular.

Its not dstv sensoring those words.. if you notice, its only in American films that those words are sensored.. America has metamorphosed from being a 'in God we trust' country to a secular country and now to an 'atheist' country.
They dont want to hear Jesus or God on their TVs or even in there children schools.. they prefer darwin's theory of evolution to be taught than religious studies.
Its so bad that the white house doesn't say merry xmas anymore, they wish people 'happy holidays'..

First of all, God and Jesus are NOT and will NEVER be 'curse' words. I can understand if DSTV is trying to please all their customers including atheists; but fellow Nairalanders we should be careful while commenting and should be more careful what we say about the name of God/Jesus lest we commit blasphemy. #IDonTalkMyOwn.

Its proper to sencor such words that r raw and vulgar, and ass well sencor words that partain to a particular religion because the product is consumedd by people of diffrnet religious background. It s just biznes ethics, nothing more

Why do they censor at all. When you tell me rated 18 I know there is strong language. If I want to watch I watch.

NB: I realise that it is as a result of Nigerians non challant attitude towards ratings that caused this. Take for example a friend of our family wonders where her 4 years old son gets his dirty language from. Well you let him watch 16 rated movies with you what did you expect?

I watched BBA 2 with shower @ 7 when I was 14 cheesy so I guess I am guilty too

God, Jesus and similar words are censored for contextual use.
You won't see Jesus censored in a movie where a Pastor is praying except again the context is bad.

NL be factual , get your facts right I.e name the precise channels or channel you notice this etc I know DSTV is an affiliate of illuminai through BBA I.e that EYE, triangle, immorality, nudity and pornographic content and absolutely poor or no message now I am factual.... Word!!

That is not true. The censor occurs for almost any instance even when used with meaning.
