Those area boys are the products of the failed government at the centre. The policy sommersault by the irresponsible PDP government has continued to churn out social outcasts like hot bread from a bakery.

I wont be surprise if there are unemployed graduates in the mob, or possibly school drop outs (not because they are not brilliant) but the PDP policies at the centre has strengthened poverty in Nigeria, with 92.4% living on less than  $2/day

This is the height of delusion and/or political hypocrisy
How can area boys in Lagos;bred and buttered kparagared by Tinubu,be the product of GEJ or PDP government
Since the advent of this current democratic dispensation in 1999,has a PDP governor ever ruled Lagos state??let's show some capacity for perspective and objectivity please

Does requesting for a jar of petrol actually mean that they are preparing or about to burn, or set the journalist ablaze? NO
Cos area boys and in-fact all hoodlums are known to make a lot of threats just to make you afraid, for them to be able to get what they want from you easily, and I might not even be surprised if the never even said such a thing, and the journalist was just trying to label them black cos if they were actually trying to set him ablaze then the police would have arrested or confirmed the situation themselves

do any productive activities. Please do not say we do not have area boys in Delta state. I
cry every day because our youth are on the part of destruction. In an adjacent village during
the xmas holiday a friend of mine call the youth from his village and we were inform that
they just want to make it. (HAVE MONEY FROM ANY SOURCE WITHOUT WORKING)

Beaf this are youth with NO known employable skill and do not wish to learn any skill
Please Mr Beaf lets face the reality, we have bad goverment who careless about the
people.

BEAF, the youth in Delta state are suffering.
Thanks for exposing beaf's hypocrisy !!!

The so called action of the said "area boys" in lagos, is what an almajiri in kano or gombe can do. The roaming almajiri in kano is an "area boy".

Take a truck of container filled with imported goodies to warri, before disembarking the goods, you must settle the "boys".

You are just arguing foolishly. Please, stop trying to derail the thread with lies about villages that have no names in other states.

Area boys in Lagos are making life miserable for people in Jakande Estate area. It is an example of the aimlessness of the protest that they are holding residents hostage, beating people up, causing kids to go hungry and attempting to set people alight.
