I have airtel sim but it can not connect to internet, i have tried all the settings manually both on phone and modem but no success. I even got automatic setup from airtel when i inserted the sim into my galaxy s2, the settings were installed still could not browse. Other sim browse well on my phone and modem. I contacted airtel thru selfcare portal but no respose till now. I am thinking of swapping the sim because my sim is vmobile. Is there any code to activate airtel sim for internet? Anyone with usefull information please contribute |

Are you using these settings? Name Airtel 3G Access point name internet.ng.zain.com Username internet Password internet Authentication None This works on both Zain and Airtel lines. |

I used that settings and two others i got from the net and the over the air configuration still no success. |

civilserva: Vmobile sim?I think you need to visit their customer care centre and request for a sim swap. |

@poster You need to do a sim swap cis most of those old sims are not up to the current 128kb sims used now Cheers |

Thanks all, i think sim swap is the best option. I will go to their office after the strike for the swap. |

It's possible dat old SIM isn't provisioned. Retrieve dat line on another SIM, den switch yur phone off nd on. |
