I have a friend who was used and dumped by a girl and later he met a lady who has same problem and now they have problem going on, cos of lack of trust and fear of being dump again the guy is a yoruba by tribe and the lady a Birom from plateau state what is your advise for the guy and the lady ?

I think the young lady and man are having problems b/c they have not healed from their previous heartbreak. Relationships (successful ones) require many things including honesty and vulnerability. But, when you trust someone and he/she violates that trust it hurts and the tendency is to pull away from ALL ppl in order to avoid future pain. A person must come to terms w/ what happened by any means necessary, incl. talking, writing, crying, and seeking sympathy & understanding. I think your friends began this relationship w/o healing themselves. Now, they should be friends w/ each other. I don't know if their relationship can survive but bothmust be certain to be honest & say, "Sometimes I am afraid you will abandon me or decieve me like my ex." and the other should respond w/ the truth which is "yes I might" or "No I will not abandon you. I am not your ex. I am worthy of your trust. Remember how I behave & the type of person I am next time before your thoughts run away from you." I think if this is said in a nice tone the two ppl can at least part ways as friends.
