EU ~ I will be buying if the support @ 1.3057 is not broken. I believe mkt still has potential to reach that level.

EU ~ I will be buying if the support @ 1.3057 is not broken. I believe mkt still has potential to reach that level.

Chart pattern analysis for aud/usd

identified ascending triangles in both 4hr and weekly chart.

there was a breakout of the triangle on the 4hr. looks like price is heading back into the triangle. should that be the case, we can say it was a false breakout.

and the break and test of  .0683 support will prompt us to go short.

also noticed a macd divergence on this time frame. (see first chart)

looking at things from the bigger picture, there is an ascending triangle on the weekly.

should there be a downward breakout of the 4hr triangle, the weekly trendline should be out target. (see 2nd chart attached for details)

NB: I'm not pulling the trigger until .0683 is broken.

PRICE IS KING. FOLLOW IT WHEREVER IT GOES.

there's a huge difference, scalping with an account size of $100 can't be compared with that of $10,000

you scalp few dollars with $100 and maybe get just $50 at the end of the day if you risk almost all to trade.

but with $10,000 you risk just 10% of the total size and you still make $1,000 daily, you see the difference? to make the $1,000, you only risk $1,000 but on $100, you risk $100 to make $50.

brother i think u are right. scalpping isn't just an issue of having a huge amount in your account. i almost did it today but believe it would have worked for me but still that isn't my trading pattern.

Ah, abeg no let scalpers hear this, how can u say that? The best way to scalp is wait for the trend to be comfirm and follow it up, 5pips stoploss, 20pips scalping, by the time u win 8/10 , you are full of pips, u can still be lucky and win 10/10 for a week or more, the only thing that can kill some scalper is if u are the type that increase ur stoploss

I'm afraid tight stop loss won't cut it with spikes.
If the trade spikes you going to get cleaned out at the first break of the first spike which may either increase your loss/profit whichever direction you are trading in

^^ I dont know about the way u think about scalping, but once am on scalping, i have an install robot that secure my profit(s) by shifting the stoploss to +1pip at the first plus am in a trade(s), and start trailing at every 15pips  with the stoploss, so if market decides to hit the stoploss, then it is still on profit(s)

Just like stop hunting candles, one happened today on EU, beside spikes happen mostly during powerful news, just like it will be tomorrow

Stop loss orders a good form of disaster insurance, though they are far from infallible. If the market is going to head in the wrong direction in a hurry, they can get you out of your position before the damage is too great. However, loss stops may not protect you against several days of limit moves, or extreme gap openings. When trading contracts, no matter what you do, there is no perfect way to explicitly define and limit your risk. Still, stops do take some of the intraday worry out of trading.
