I thought that BAT said that Nigeria economy is stable and it doesn't need any loan again. Why requesting for this loan again. Plus having removed all subsidies - fuel , electricity and forex the govt revenue increased in 4 folds. Why need loans thereby mortgaging our future to neocolonialism of the lenders |

What is the point of celebrating a supposedly record-breaking revenue generation—touted by the Federal Government as a major win for the masses—only to then seek another $2 billion in loans? Even more concerning is the administration’s growing reliance on taxing the already overburdened poor to drive revenue, while simultaneously increasing the salaries and allowances of public officials, which are already among the highest in the world. |

Someone that was governor of the richest state in the country yet piled up debt to the heavens, at the same time accumulated personal wealth 10 generations cannot exhaust even if they never work. How can you make that your friend that is a chronic onigbese, that takes money from all the loan apps, and spends it anyhow without thinking of repayment, who also had a dodgy past, you then make him not just your accountant, not just your director of finance, you make him MD and group chairman of your company, with complete access to all your accounts without question, Watin you think say go happen? Omo, he will use money for your generation unborn to buy "Benz". |

How many times would this man borrow in 2 years? Later, they'd say tinubu isn't borrowing. O ga oo. Enough patience is needed ahead of 2027 because this is just the beginning. He's sent off a lot of multinationals who used to generate revenues for running the government's day to day activities with their poorly performing polices. Again, hundreds of thousands of SMEs that FIRS used to generate revenue from have shut down operations and sacked their workers due to low revenues, still cos of Tinubu's bad economic policies. I visited the FIRS and their tax controller was lamenting. They had printed loads of letters to be sent out to companies to please remit something, alas! Recently, fed govt contractors stormed Abuja for their 2024 contract arrears. Very shameful. Despite all these, some people will still be defending them out of sentiments. They think because he's from among us, he'll be spraying money on their heads and be reeling out infrastructural development in our region. There's no single FG project ongoing in the south west as we speak, apart from the lagos-calabar coastal road which is neither here nor there and the rehabilitation of lagos-shagamu expressway. When late buhari was in power, the so-called ex military man oo, the entire apapa road was completely reconstructed. The airport road, from MMIA down to isolo was completely reconstructed and widened. It was still Tinubu's hitech that got the contract. I really don't know what he'd campaign with in 2027 that will appeal to the masses. The palliatives he promised in 2023 for removing subsidy, we no see. How much have they saved from the subsidy and how much of it have they re-invested, nobody knows. |

How again? But the President said FG met its targets from revenue on non-oil sector? Why loan again. They should use the revenue or is it audio revenue.. ![]() It's like where Papa tell his family that he has made so much money from family business and when the family needs to take dinner, you turn around and tell them Papa want to go and borrow money for the family breakfast. What ![]() |
