In nigeria today a lot of people now go into the teaching career for the sake of just been employed. However, the teaching profession is just more than that! Teaching is a calling. One who is coming into this profession have to have certain attributes such as patience, love for children, passion, endrance, creativity, emotional balance, cordination and selflessness. As a teacher one should be able to have an average knowledge of relevant societal issues and have a strong knowledge of his or her subject matter. Good teachers go the extra mile to bring out the best in their pupils and students. So what do we see today? People entering into this vocation even without motivation. It is a pity and this is the reason for the kind of results that is constantly announced each year. We teachers who are born and not made
