MUJAHID DOKUBO ASARI ON AL-MUSTAPHA' s CONVICTION:"This is the Day of Shame for us all. Shame on you Nigeria Al-Mustapha and other innocent Men Will not Die, They will be alive Insha Allah. The treachery and conspiracy against Goodluck Jonathan will fail, When you man Obasanjo was there for eight years he didn't get a conviction. Umar Musa Yar'adua didn't get a conviction. Shame on you Yoruba. Your conspiracy will fail also. |

This man should stop his attention seeking. Of course the sentence will be appealed. He's not the one who will tell others what to do. And neither is there any need for anyone to go on rampage over the ruling. Nigeria is a country of laws after all- let us follow due process instead of giving ourselves a name for waywardness and violence. |

During the coup trial, al-Mustapha was a king. Even generals feared him. He was arguably more powerful than Malu, whose order that reading glasses be made available to the accused (on Olanrewaju’s request) was turned down by Sergeant Rogers, on the orders of al-Mustapha. al-Mustapha was president of Nigeria in many ways. Yes, the generals were afraid of him, and Abdulkareem Adisa later often had to explain why he had to ‘’grovel before Mustapha, a mere major,” as the newspapers alleged. He said he was appealing to General Abacha through the major, and he (Adisa) said that he was not a fool, that he would plead to save his life if that was necessary. As Adisa put it: “If armed robbers come to your house, won’t you beg?” Diya himself said he only ‘’pleaded,” not ‘’begged”, an explanation that the fiery columnist, Festus Adedayo, described as a “semantic fraud.” Adedayo further went on to say that he was “sickened, really sickened,” by Diya’s conduct. However, as someone also wrote in an opinion article, ‘’If Diya wanted to prove that he was a general, he would be dead by now.” I agree, Haaaaahaaaaaaaahaaaa Yoruba Generals dey make me laugh |

13volts: it is funny how the family of Kudirat, Saro wiwa and abiola would have felt when they were all dead under Abacha and Al-Mustapha without this long trial Lets call a spade a spade and not a shove what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. If it happens under GEJ does not matter unless we all are biased. |

what does Jonathan's govt has to do with the conviction of Al Mustapha and Shofola? Why do we like to politicise everything in this country? This same Mr. President promised to stand by the rule of law. Some Nigerians have short memory and they av forgotten that this case against Al Mustapha and co was intensified by the government of Obasanjo. Tell Asari to stop being an ethnic bigot. Asari is talking too much and he needs to be curbed before it is too late. We need peace in Nigeria and we don't want people like Asari to be heating up the polity with their ethnic jingoism. And let it b known to him that most Nigerians are very wiser, intelligent and knowledgeable than him. |

Just a thought guys: can you imagine if it was ken saro wiwa's death mustapha was convicted and sentenced to death for, and guess what? Let's also say we are still in OBJ's regime, Oya , Asiri talk nah?, I bet the Yorubas will never say "Oooh they are trying to give OBJ a bad name. You know why? They are much more enlightened. Even before jona was made acting president, yoruba was among the prominent tribe dat critized the popular kitchen cabinet. Wen obasanjo wanted 3rd term in office, yoruba stood against the plot. Mr militant and company, you just looking for cheap popularity. Yoruba will forever stand against social injustice regardless of the tribe involved. yoruba fought for the emancipation of democracy your jona is enjoying now. Wen was asari wen yorubas were campaigning against military rule. Shioh kelebe tu e |

MUJAHID DOKUBO ASARI ON AL-MUSTAPHA' s This Buffoon should shut-up and enjoy his ill-gotten settlement. Has the case not been going before GEJ stole into the scene? This over bloated Baboon seems to think that Jonathan is still his local government chairman and thus belongs only to Okirika. |
