Nigerian born hit maker D’Banj lost out to Rwanda born; Belgium based sonorous pop singer Sabrina Iyadede in an online poll that was conducted by MTV on January 31st 2012. The poll was to determine the African artiste of the week. The online poll was tagged MTV Iggy Artiste of the Week which many thought would sway the way of D’banj but apparently, his fans didn’t vote enough.
