I take it you did a 3 button hard reset on your phone and thereby deleted some apps that came with the phone.
You can download the latest Nokia store from beta labs but that may not install especially if some Qt components are missing.

N9 runs the MeeGo OS while Anna and Belle are versions of Symbian. Its like trying to run a symbian app on am android device. So you can't update it to Anna or Belle. However, it may have its own updates

I know that feeling. Av u ever seen d Belle OS on anoda n8? U'll feel lyk throwin ur fone away cos u'll feel intimidated.lol. Just press *#0000# as u've already done then press 'check for updates' from the options key. Since it is very likely dat ur n8's OS is stil symbian^3, ur n8 MIGHT first upgrade to Anna b4 actually goin 2 Belle. U can also update ur n8 with ovi suite on ur pc but d file will b much larger than doing it on d fone itself(like 10x larger). If u eventually decide to do it on ur pc, u must have a very smooth internet connection that won't disconnect cos if it does, ur phone might develop little faults. Just try it and give me d feedback.

Demo? Well...u can try again sha but if there is still no difference, u can try using ur pc. Btw, wat was d size of the belle demo it showed u?

After several google search, I stumble into dailymobile forum and just like a magic I got my store back with just a surprise app. I just instal it den my store started to wrk forum.dailymobile.se/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=59045.0;attach=163332. Thank u all as am loving my phone again.

Ve used opera to download 2 diff store, one is standalone store of around 6mb nd anoda of 20mb but stil cant instal any of d2. Everytin just tire me jare. Bricking can be defined as murderin an xpensiv phone in cold blood by damaging the essential files that boots/turns it on.. Thereby rendering the phone useless which automatically makes it a BRICK and no more a PHONE.

U can't update from one operating system to another using your phone sis. u gonna need a pc with nokia suite installed (nokia suite 3.3 for belle ). even if BELLE UPDATE appears on sw update application on your phone, u ll see a message ''PC is required'' under it. you are changing the whole software (firmware) branded in the phone's system directory so u ll need an host (your pc) to do the work.

The belle demo u installed was notthe actual os, it is a normal update but u didnt check d full name cos u were eager to update to belle or probably it was the video demo that was released by nokia for belle (check ur video folders)

i wont advice staying on your current Operating system cos its no good in any way, but please u must understand how to update to Anna or straight to Belle so u wont make a single mistake which ll brick your phone. And also how to unbrick if it eventually dies on u.

with all this scary stuff about murdering my baby(my n8),and practically paralyzing it, ah think i'll leave it on d current OS, while salivating after all ya beautiful upgrades,tanx.

Guys, i nid help. My games(especially PES 11) keep hanging while playing, wat can i do about it? Secondly, i upgraded my shazam to d latest version and i later discovered that it was a trial version as i can only tag 5 times in a month. Same thing happened to me when i got mine too. Uninstall d fsecure(or any default antivirus dat came with it) and reinstall d netqin. U cant use two antiviruses effectively on ur fone.

Exactly d same thing dat happened to me. Once u've restarted and it gets to d home screen, dont let it finish booting at all. Just go directly to d fsecure and uninstall it from d menu.

neva u keep 2 antivirus at a time again. U even lucky for it to boot 2nd n3rd time. The last time it happened to me i ended up flashing d fone,though mine is 701. NOTE, bfor u hack incase u want to, dont forget to remove dat ur netquin bfor nortons, den reinstal wen done . Unles u wan enter one chance b dat.

Any one with any useful info on getting VoxTrack Call recorder which doesn't beep on Symbian Belle. Or at worst an equivalent? I use it on my E6 and E63, version 1.30 (28748)

I love VoxTrack so much cos of the way it arranges and stores the calls by name; any credible alternative out there?
