Dear fellow "landers", I am an IT student that most uses his laptop but having being confronted consistently with the challenge of irregular power supply, a friend told me a better alternative is a solar charger for laptop. I have asked of this in several computer accessories stores and even in Computer Village, and they do not have it or either know about it.

Pls is there really a laptop charger and where can I get one if available? Anyone with answer

Yes there is a version manufactured by a Nigerian Engineer but not solar.
It will power your laptop for 6 hours when there is no light.
It costs N10k.
The same engineer also manufactured a mobile phone charger which can keep charging up to 8 phones for 2 weeks when there is no light. You recharge this 8 point mobile phone charger once in two weeks. the cost is N5k
Another version of the mobile phone charger can charge 3 phones for at least 30 days without recharging the mobile charger. You recharge it once in 30 days. I've been using this 3 point mobile phone charger for over a year and it works fine. The cost is N2.5k

Some run strictly on solar, other models use solar/electricity to recharge. There is a third model (the type INEC used during their registration process) that can be charged with electricity and used when there is power outage (power bank).
