Most likely for selfish reasons.

Very welcome development.

Gotocourt:
The expansion created new divisional headquarters in Makurdi, Ilorin, Jalingo and Benin City.
The restructuring has placed new divisional commands across different regions of the country.

The 5 Division is based in Makurdi and covers Benue, Nasarawa and Kogi states, while the 9 Division in Ilorin covers Kwara and Niger states.

The 10 Division has its headquarters in Jalingo and covers Taraba and Adamawa states.

The Army is also expected to establish the 83 Division in Benin City to cover Edo, Delta and Bayelsa states.

Noted, thanks for the info

Excellent. Nigeria shouldn't be only for one Nijeriya. This is the type of restructuring deserving of a reelection.
