I attended a friend's birthday party recently. I noticed girls, some as young as 13, fumbling around on heels and looking very uncomfortable. it was so pathetic. Seriously though, should mothers buy high heels for their teenage daughters? |

Hmm. I don't have a daughter that age but I think 13 is okay for heels. The type of heels matter though. A 13 year old in stilettos is not appropriate |

But are they not still children? emotionally and psychologically? They are not mini-adults. So why the rush to introduce them to spikes? Methinks there's time enough for that in future. |

No one said spikes. There are age appropriate heels for kids. A 13 year old should be able to walk comfortably in small heels. |

If they are able to carry it and walk well in it, i dont see a problem in such. . . . Only see a problem, if the parents are the one forcing them to wear it. |
