I saw dat brownish discharge wen I was 5weeks,went to see d gynea and he confirmed everything was fine,dat d brownish discharge doesn't Mata.

I had the brownish spotting when I was 7weeks. I went to the hospital and a after a scan was done, i was assured my baby and I were fine.
So in as much as it may be normal, id advice you both go to the hospital for confirmation.
