This blender matter reminds me of when I went to spend a weekend with my mom. Momcy decided to make moi -moi, she wanted to grind it in blender, I was like Iya let's goan grind this thing outside na, she said lailai na so she dey blend am, it will be smooth, it will be this.... it will be that. My mama begin blend, call me make I see. I said issokay, na here we go dey.
Fastforward, moi-moi don done, I chop am, I dey see beans inside. ....I no fit vex for her. She was like, is it not nice?
I was like "e try". It was horrible!!!!!!!!!
I manage chop small, tell am say I don full. Big mistake. She pack am as take away for me. Got home dumped it in the freezer. Whenever I don't have anything to cook and I am rummaging in my freezer for what to warm fast fast and I set eyes on it, I shudder and close freezer kia Kia. [color=#990000][/color]

Ahnie, thanks for that enquire about the best blender, na so I make enquires and I was told of one usha lexus blender, that it can even blend bark of tree hmmm, infact, na so I run go buy am 16k, peeled my beans, ready to make moimoi lol, loaded the thing, e blended for like 3 mins, I paused it, blended like another 2 mins paused again, started the blending but the blender no gree. Ehen! For this buhari regime, left it to relax for like 15 mins before blending resumed again. Ehen! How I use 16k buy blender wey dey breathe in and out, relax before blending. Kai. The kain run I take run return the blender the next day ehen, I got to the shop before them open self, as I no even sleep well d night b4 lol. So pls mamas, can kenwood really blend beans for akara n moimoi. Used phillips before it got damaged but seems its phasing out of the mkt and don't know where to claim warranty. Sorry for my long post. Night duty things.

Kenwoood is bae dear, you can't go wrong with it when it comes to kitchen equipment. . But their products are always costlier than other brands. .

The blender does everything; beans, egusi, ogbono, ehu, coconut etcc.. I blend everything 'blendable' with it..

Make sure you get the original..

When it comes to household items, people usually have a particular brand or product they prefer to use.
Buying these things aalso depends on ya pocket considering d economy now is not beans

I actually use scanfrost cooker, and it's good, it's not disappointed me so far. Got it for 42k sometime in February

Then I use panasonic microwave, I've had it for 3yrs now, and it works perfectly. Got it for 11k at the time

Then I use philips blender (it was a wedding gift), it works better than my master chef blender. Though I've not tried using it to blend beans and others (we rarely eat beans in my house thanks to dh). I limit it to tomatos, pepper and onions to avoid stories that touch 

Don't know how much they go for now sha. But just load ya wallet veeeeeeeeery well

All I had yesterday was bread and tea for breakfast, then chips and fried egg for lunch, I wasn't hungry again later in the day so I had sugarcane, then 30 mins later I had bread and tea again, I threw up, then we went out, got home 30mins later, since I was spitting alot I decided to eat coconut

It is still individual chioce. I also did nt gv my baby water for 6 month because breast milk is almost 90% water.some pple does ebf n still gv water.

on the issue of blender and grinding beans for moi moi or akara the magic is allow the beans to soak well well before blending and don't fill the blender much, you will have a very smooth beans, I have been using Kenwood for over two years and I blend beans with it.

Also we have been on Nan1 for these 3weeks,and am suspecting it to be the cause, what other good formula can I use that won't cause constipation for them?

U can try giving them more water.i personally ensure my baby takes a centain amount of water daily to avoid constipation.
U can also reduce d scoop of der feed.
