UK Entry Level Visa Rejected. Re-application Advised? by akshayaaiyer: 3:28pm On Mar 17, 2012
Hey there!
So my family applied for UK visa last week and surprisingly it got rejected! The reason for rejection was insufficient funds! In the refusal letter, they mentioned that only considered passbook amounts ( which had very little balance) and not the bank statements! ( with heavier balance ) . My parents are salaried people and I'm a student. I really want to avoid another black stamp on my passport! Also along with the statements we had also provided property papers, salary slips and it returns ! So here is the question, should we reapply cause this was a clear case of administrative error? We were also planning to apply for Schengen Visa. Will a uk rejection affect schengen? Advice is appreciated. Thanks! smiley
