What are your top SCARY movies? And I don't mean a movie with just special gross out effects or torture porn type movies. I mean movies that genuinely reach into the bottom of your soul and stomps over it.

The Ring (the Japanese version)
The Eye (the first half of it, second half was dumb)

The Exorcist definitely is on my list like everyone
Never saw Saw, lol, but the trailers were appropriately scary
The Ring too was tight,both of em

now adding to the list,

The Omen series, omg, creeped the shitt outta me
The Cell, the one with J-lo
The Texaz chainsaw massacre
The others and Stir of echoes didn't really scare me, but they really great scary films
The ninth gate

there are a lot more that were scary at the time I saw them but won't be now.

my scariest is "Evil dead" but my best is "The Ring"

So scared I haven't watched it again since i was eight years old.

But Truth be told, i was such a fragile thing then I was scared by Indiana Jones and the temple of doom!!!!!!!!

i would pick omen. . .i dont like horror movies but somehow i managed to watch some of the series of this one, daannng i dont plan to watch more.

Omen( old version) scared me shitless in those days.
