A middle-aged man, Mr. Olubunmi Olademo, yesterday committed suicide by hanging himself in Ilorin after his wife allegedly turned down his request for money, a source told Daily Trust.

The Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ezekiel Dabo, who confirmed the incident, said the corpse has been deposited at the mortuary of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital while investigation continues. Sources said the body was found dangling on a tree at the family building at Oke Odo, Tanke, Ilorin.
