President Olusegun Obasanjo has announced an extension of the 2006 National Population and Housing Census exercise by another two days. The exercise which began Tuesday, March 21 and was initially scheduled to end today, Saturday, March 25, 2006 will now round off on Monday the 27th . The extension, conveyed in a presidential broadcast early this morning, said it was taken at a meeting called at the request of the National Population Commission to evaluate the exercise and appraise the hiccups experienced therein |
