mkpologwu: Guys u r missing d most annoying uncivilized thing abt niggarias: falling inside stew/soup pots at eatery trying to point which meat they want! I've witnessed this severally even among the wealthy ones in five star eateries! Especially yoroboahs!! Shame!!!

Its really crazy, especially with these commercial vehicles, some go as far as dropping/picking passengers at the middle of the road.

Jakumo: Nigerians are generally at their most uncouth when aboard international flights, or in foreign airports. They hiss like serpents, or purse their lips and make squealing noises to attract the attention of cabin crew, NEVER say "please" or "thank you" for anything, and leave the entire cabin looking like the aftermath of a food fight by the end of each flight.

Bellowing at deafening volume on their cell phones as they try and barge into the front of long orderly passenger lines in airport terminals, Nigerians are also hard to miss between flights, where their presence is usually marked by enormous floor-to-ceiling mountains of "hand luggage", most of which is unceremoniously taken off the loudly protesting travelers and tossed in the hold where it belonged in the first place.

Other than these minor quibbles, Nigerians are very cultured and urbane ha ha.

achukwunet: ROME! That's where. When I went back home in 2010, my family and I were separated: My parents and younger sister flew straight to Lagos while my sister and brother and I were flown off to Rome, then to Lagos. Here's Why:


1) Nigerians in Rome are cuhrazy!!! My sister and I I guess you can say are oyinbos, so the men on the flight were taking pictures of us. People we didn't even know!

2) While we were taking off, people suddenly remembered that they had to use the bathroom and make emergency phone-calls (no emergencies, they were perfectly fine)

3) About 3 hours into the flight, many people had to use the restroom. (We were sitting in the veeeeeery back) Fights broke out about who was where first and who's time to use the bathroom was more important.

4) Uncontrolled children crying loudly and the parents not doing anything to quiet them up.

5) An hour prior to landing, a woman started to make a phone-call during the flight. When a male flight attendant came up to ask her if she wanted the entire plan to crash, she got even more upset with him, saying he should let her make her call. (She never did make that call)

6) As we were about to land and the lights for "Seat-belts On" flashed on, everyone sat down. 2 seconds later, a woman got up, saying she had to use the bathroom. When a female flight attendant asked her to sit, she was angry, saying she was "Pressed". (She sat down)

7) The plane was squeaky clean when we boarded. As we we're leaving, there was goat meat on the floor, rice everywhere, chin-chin that had been stepped onto so much it was ground into the floor.


Worst Flight of my Life. Not all the people on the flight were bad, but a good majority

Brixtonyute: The word 'Nigeria' itself is uncivilized, just as most of the educated Nigerians are uncivilized.

The only civilized Nigerians are the ones living in the Villages who can think critically.

Most of the educated Nigerians act "civilized" but civilization is not about mimicking, it's about creating something unique based on your consciousness.

driving is horrendous!! you don't need special training to just follow the car in front of you in one single lane

the 2 second rule has no meaning to most drivers
