I got a t-mobile sim card and whenever i insert it into my phone, it connects to celtel but when i try to call with it it tells me "active call baring". I just dont want this asset to waste like that. Any opinions please? |

Throw the sim Way Jare it's of no Use, Or maybe u can do an Online search, there mite be a Mystery to it! |

dude it seem you don still know the owner of celtel africa it unimaginable to hear some one talkin like this celtel [zain] has com to stay for ever. a little info dude: MTC is the owner of celtel,mobinil,mobitel etc so it was thought wise that all the company bear the name and logo: zain: a wonderfull world. mtc is one the largest telecom in the middle east it may also interest u to know that celtel international is bigger than MTN international. so there is no way celtel can be sold again IT WILL ONLY UNDERGO REBRANDIND. ie to ZAIN. SO don't start makin pplr panic. |

wot it means is dat tmobile's roaming agreement is wiv celtel(orange is wiv mtn) if u hv credit on the sim u shld be able to send txts i dunno bout calling |

Yes. That sim is roaming. It just so happens to be roaming on celtel. Depending on roaming agreements between the networks, it may pick another network. A lot of prepaid sim cards do not automatically activate outgoing calls when roaming. You have to cal them first. My virgin UK sim roamed mostly on MTN and sometimes GLO when I was there last year. My cingular sim roamed on MTN ONLY. |

Get a sim on postpaid plan,that's wat i use 2 surf d web 4 up to 3mths till now & it's fuckingly fast. Nothin like free gprs guyz! |

Fool. I use my TMobile sim card in Nigeria when I travel home - this allow me to still receive calls from the UK on my phone in Nigeria - off course it means TMobile has a roaming agreement with Celtel - but on my phone its says Glo - maybe its now with Celtel. If it says call barring, maybe in your foolishness, you have a pay as you go SIM card that has no credit - or you have a contract line that doesnt allow you to make romaning calls. |
