DAY 1 An event that shook the world As darkness covered the earth. On a day as natural as ever And yet an event as supernatural as never. A man who had touched the world and beamed his light all over it But death loomed ominously over Him A man crucified, A lamb slain, A world saved? DAY 2 The earth is eerily silent Darkness rejoices on earth. The day is the Sabbath On earth its kept holy But has darkness won the battle? Questions like arrows Pummelled towards heaven And heavens reply? Silence. DAY 3 Its the day after the Sabbath Excitement builds Something is about to Happen. Death couldn’t hold him captive, The stone rolls away seemingly on its own And He Walks out triumphantly With victory in His wake The tomb is empty, The lamb is alive! Salvation is come! 1 Like |
