In another development, the Kano State Police Commissioner, Idris Ibrahim said that the
Thursday’s attack by gunmen in which a Pastor was said to have been killed was a clear case of
armed robbery, as he was shot in in his house by his attackers, who made away with his vehicle.
According to him, the incident had no religious connection whatsoever, adding that the victim was
not known to the police as a Pastor but as an Engineer working in a private firm in Kano.
