I've been invited for an entry level test at their headoffice this Saturday. I need to know the format nd wat it is like working with them. Also any hints or tips will be highly appreciated.

@Aribolseg-i also got the invitation. can't remember how I applied,was even planning 2 go submit both my cv & a friend's own dis week. Concerning wat 2 expect,I have no idea,but I believe it cannot pass Gmat...From wat I heard,Gt Assur is a very good place 2 work...best of luck (pls,if u have any info concerning d test,don't hesitate 2 post it here)....cheers

Nice one kunle. @all, heard its all Gmat. Quantitative and Verbal reasoning (sentence and passage completion also comprehension). Further to my research those that wrote last year were to told to write an essay on any topic of their choice alongside the aptitude. Don't know how certain this is as it may vary year to year buh let's prepare wide on all areas of gmat and essays. God help us all

@kunle. Its really painfull.... I'm quite sure some peeps have this right information and will never disclose to have an egde or even show face in the forum until they need help on interview tips. May God help us all sha. See u guys @ the venue.

To b frank, I like making tins look almost perfect cos I once gatecrashed @ a company one day without d text msg from the company which was quite embarrassing. So because of dat, I hav a way of sending a bulk sms with company's Name oN it so as to avoid any embarrassment. I will be glad if d test msg seNder name is giving e.g GTAssurance or HRM@GTA. Thanks a bunch, will b expecting

@gabman wt happens if dey av a list with dem. I get ur drift dou but one needs to be double sure so as not to jeopardise d chances of gatecrashing sef. Anyways, I mite be down wit the SMS tin.

My problem is dat I get kpmg test dat very day,I pray I make it 2 Gtassur test on time.
@danielnwodi- I neva said dat anybody can go 4 d interview without a notification..common,its not even an interview,its just an aptitude test.see,have attended a test where 25 of us were invited,but we were more than 120 that showed up that day,so d recruiter had 2 use there list 2 screen people out bcus of d crowd.then I attended a microfinance bank test which was done in batches where only 5 people were invited per batch,but 13 people showed up in my batch.d lady in charge said that though only 5 were invited,d oda 8 can try their luck too.

I think the reason for the delay could be attributed to the recent sale of GT assur to an african insurance company in line with the new rules made by central bank that all banks should divest from non-banking businesses...just as Diamond bank sold ADIC insurance, the process is still ongoing as it has a deadline of may 5

I don't think so, dat can delay interview and selection but shouldn't have delayed informing candidates if succesful in the test or not. This is just a frustrating suspense...... (Abi dey don DHL the scripts for those foreign investors to mark ni?)

from what i just gathered, almost everyone that wrote the test failed the test... i was also wondering why they would give one hour for 40 questions plus an essay and expect anything less...

i wrote the test also, and i asked my contact... the person i submitted my cv thru. they will however still call the few that passed. when? i dont know. neither does my contact.

Did he tell you the number of people that passed the test? or if they might conduct another test.

yeah he said they might conduct another test going by the results, when i hear anything, i will post, for now i am keeping my fingers crossed as well, me sef dey pray say make dem call me o.
